Has been kind of a hard cycle. Really tired, feet hurt a lot.
Oh, well, it's done and I've gotten through another cycle. Now I have 2 weeks off, which will be nice. I'll start up again on September 30.
My next CT scan is not scheduled yet, but will be sometime in early November.
I wish someone would do some research on Hand-Foot Syndrome. It seems like there are a lot of us out there who suffer from it and not much being done to help us.
I wonder sometimes about what the Sutent is doing to my liver and other vital parts. And I wonder what all the CT contrast is doing to my kidneys.
I guess as long as I have things like H-F Syndrome, livers, and kidneys, to worry about I shouldn't complain about having cancer! ;-)
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in Nov., 1999. Surgery and radioactive iodine followed. In Dec., 2006, I found a lump in my neck that turned cancerous. Shortly thereafter, it was found to have metastasized throughout my body and to be untreatable and inoperable. I started a clinical trial with Sutent (sunitinib) since Apr., 2007. In Nov., 2013, the tumors began growing again and I was removed from the Sutent Clinical Trial. I started a clinical trial taking of CEDIRANIB on 04/09/14.
